In a commendable philanthropic gesture, Chief Azubuike Ekweozor, the founder of Ide Global Movement, has gifted a purpose-built security house to his community. Named the ‘Umuawulu Security House’, this establishment stands as a beacon of Chief Ekweozor’s enduring love and commitment to the well-being and safety of his community members in Anambra.
The Nigerian Tribune reveals that this newly constructed one-storey building, strategically located in the Agbana quarters of Umuawulu, Awka South Local Government Area, is poised to become the central hub for the community’s security force. This house’s establishment aims not only to bolster security operations but to safeguard life and property.
Philanthropic Endeavors Ignite Community Development
The inauguration of this edifice witnessed prominent figures of the community gathering in respect and acknowledgment. Among the esteemed attendees were the community’s traditional ruler, Igwe Joel Egwuonwu, the traditional Prime Minister, Dr. Emma Ezenwaji, cabinet chiefs, security personnel, and the energetic youth.
Chief Ekweozor, during the handover, emphasized the project’s intent. He shed light on his continual love for the community and his drive to enhance its socio-economic growth. He firmly believes that fortifying security measures will curtail criminal activities, paving the way for prospective investments in the vicinity.
Furthermore, the Chief didn’t miss the chance to laud the relentless efforts of the traditional ruler, the Cabinet Chiefs, and the security team. He urged the community to stand united against the rising menace of drug abuse, identifying it as a root cause of growing insecurities.
The sentiments were echoed by the traditional ruler of Umuawulu, Igwe Egwuonwu. Expressing gratitude on behalf of the community, he lauded Chief Ekweozor, defining him as a paragon of virtue and dedication. The traditional Prime Minister, Dr. Ezenwaji, Chief Ben Okafor, the community’s Chief Security Officer, and Mr. Chike Okpala, President of Agbana quarters, all conveyed their gratitude.
